When drafting the text for our magazine review we thought that it was of a importance to talk solely about our short film and not to introduce such things as comic phrases or puns. We took inspiration from such magazines such as Sight and Sound and Little White Lies. Little White Lies was a magazine which we very much liked the look of therefore we aimed to base our text and design on the magazine. Below is a sample of what we have wrote in our review:
'Torn is the debut film of the up and coming independent production company, RJ Films. It’s emotive nature alongside it’s un-romanticised take on family life behind closed doors is a breath of fresh air.'
Above is the first paragraph of our film review, I myself am happy with this as it get's straight to the point of the film which I think our audience will like as we feel our review would be shown in a magazine which would focus on film reviews, like Little White Lies.
